Q: Why should I consign?

A: Selling used equipment yourself can be extremely time consuming. When you list your items on the web you will receive countless questions about your items as well as a variety of Internet scams. Yard sales and craigslist ads open you up to strangers coming to your home, place of business or annoying meetings in parking lots. When you consign with us there is no risk, we do all the work, reach a larger customer base and provide a convenient storefront. Make selling your used equipment easy, let us do it for you.

Q: How do I consign with Langley Photo and Digital?

A: The consignment process is easy. You (the consigner) bring in your items to us (the seller). We inspect and price your items and both parties sign a contract after which we will take possession of your items. We then display your items both in the store and on the web while you sit back and wait for your money. It's that easy.

Q: What do we accept for consignment?

A: We deal in a variety of electronics and electronic accessories as well as cameras. Some examples are cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, camcorders, mp3 devices, video game consoles and video games. All items must be in working condition. If you have something you would like us to take a look at, bring it in.

Q: What do I pay for this service?

A: Nothing until your item sells. When your items sell at our agreed upon price we keep 30% of the sale minimum of $10. That means we do all the legwork and you get 70% hard to beat that deal.

Q: How long will my items be displayed and listed on the web?

A: We will list your items until it is determined to be beneficial to both parties to either end the consignment contract or set a new price.

Q: How will my items be priced?

A: We use a multi-source price check system to find an accurate value for your items. Remember it benefits all parties involved for us to list your items at a fair market price.

Q: Can I price my own items?

A: No, we urge you to allow us to use our knowledge and experience to price your items. You will be informed of the price before your items are listed for sale.

Q: Do you buy items outright?

A: No, but we would be happy to find a buyer for you.

Q: When do I get paid?

A: We pay you after the purchasers 5 day return period expires.

Q: How do I check the status of my items?

A: We will notify you with any status changes on your item. You can also call or email us if you have any questions regarding your items.

Q: Can you repair my item for consignment?

A: No, we only sell working condition items.

Q: Do I need an appointment to bring in my items?

A: No, though to make the process quicker and easier for you please give us advanced notice if you are bringing in more then 5 items.
